(CBS News) Demi Moore is back.

The actress made her first public appearance since leaving treatment, stepping out on Tuesday to support her friend, Amanda De Cadenet.

Moore, 49, appeared at an event at a private residence in Beverly Hills celebrating the launch of De Cadenet's new interview show, "The Conversation." The actress is an executive producer of the TV series, which premieres April 26 on Lifetime.

She also posed for photos with De Cadenet and other stars in attendance, including stylist Rachel Zoe and actresses Kelly Preston and Joy Bryant.

Moore was hospitalized after suffering convulsions in January, two months after her split from husband Ashton Kutcher. She then sought treatment and reportedly spent time on an island vacation before returning to Los Angeles last month.

The actress also resurfaced on Twitter this week, where she posted a photo of herself and is still using her @MrsKutcher handle - though perhaps not for long.

"Time for a change, twitter name change... any suggestions?" she asked her followers.
