Deer Rescued From Storm Drain

In Walnut Creek, California, an animal control officer came to the rescue of a young deer that had slipped into a drainage culvert. The tiny fawn had to be pulled gently to safety with a rope sling. It will be cared for at a local wildlife center until it can be returned to the wild.
