Deepak Chopra launches new YouTube channel
(CBS News) Deepak Chopra's new YouTube channel wasn't his idea.
"It was the kids," Chopra said Monday on "CBS This Morning." "They said, 'You've got to be cool.'"
The physician and alternative medicine pioneer launched Chopra Well, a new YouTube lifestyle channel, along with his children Monday.
"We want to reach a younger demographic," Chopra said. "Elevate the conversation and talk about creativity, imagination, insight, intuition, choice-making, conflict resolution and well being."
Chopra said his children and grandchildren influenced his decision to launch the channel. "Technology's neutral," Chopra said. "What we do with it is up to us. I think it's the extension of our mind."
