Decomposing body believed that of Playmate and B-movie actress

(CBS) Authorities are trying to identify the badly decomposing that was found last week in the Los Angles of former Playboy Playmate and B-movie actress Yvette Vickers.

Los Angeles County coroners are trying to determine whether the body, which had gone undiscovered for anywhere from several months to a year, is that of the 82-year-old Kansas City, Mo., native.

Neighbor Susan Savage told the Los Angeles Times that she saw letters and cobwebs collecting in Vickers' mailbox, which led her into going into the neglected home April 27 to discover remains.

Playboy's Playmate of the Month in July 1959, the voluptuous blonde Vickers had appeared in cult movies such as "Attack of the 50 Foot Woman and "Attack of the Giant Leeches."
