DCCC Launches Web Ad On Craig Sex Scandal

Want the latest evidence that the Larry Craig saga isn't going away anytime soon?

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is already capitalizing on Sen. Larry Craig’s sex scandal, launching a Web advertisement highlighting ethical misconduct from Republicans past and present.

The ad begins by displaying a quote from Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) that the Republican party “owns the moral high ground.” To the music of “Bad Boys,” pictures of scandal-plagued Sen. David Vitter (R-La.), former Reps. John Sweeney, Don Sherwood, Mark Foley and Ed Schrock and former Deputy Secretary of State Randall Tobias run on the screen.

To recap: Vitter and Tobias were on the D.C. madam's call list; Schrock retired from the House after allegations emerged he engaged in homosexual activity; Sherwood was accused of choking his mistress; Foley engaged in inappropriate online banter with underage pages and Sweeney's wife accused him of abuse.
