Days 96-97: Obama Gets In Some Golf

"Obama arrived at the course [Sunday] wearing sunglasses, a cream-colored baseball cap, short-sleeved shirt and khaki shorts," reports the Associated Press. "…Joining the president were Commerce Secretary Gary Locke, U.S. Trade Representative Ron Kirk and presidential aide Marvin Nicholson."
The president was "updated regularly" on the swine flu situation over the weekend, according White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs.
He also gave his weekly address, which focused on fiscal discipline.
"We need to reform our government so that it is more efficient, more transparent, and more creative," said the president. "That will demand new thinking and a new sense of responsibility for every dollar that is spent."
