Day 44: President Obama's Schedule

President Obama will start his 44th day in office with his daily briefing. Then he makes remarks about curbing wasteful spending at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building.

He will then receive his economic briefing with Vice President Biden and will meet with senior advisers.

This evening the president and first lady will host a dinner with the Congressional Committee Chairs in the East Room where he will deliver remarks. Here is more from the White House press office (all times eastern):
