David Bowie's wife Iman pays tribute on Instagram
Model Iman is holding strong in the wake of her husband's passing.
Iman posted inspirational quotes on social media in the last few days of David Bowie's life. Iman and Bowie married in 1992 and had been together for nearly 24 years.
On Sunday, the day Bowie died after an 18-month battle with cancer, Iman posted a positive message to her Instagram that said, "The struggle is real, but so is God." She also posted a throwback image of a made-up Bowie the same day.
On Saturday, she also posted another quote that said, "Sometimes you will never know the true value of a moment until it becomes a memory."
Bowie died just two days after his 69th birthday. His wife celebrated by reposting warm wishes from fans and celebrities alike, and she also reposted old photos of the star from his long and colorful career; Bowie had been working for more than five decades.
