The royal couple participated in an event promoting health and wellness, where the two took turns shooting hoops and watched a performance by the Dance Institute of Washington.
In addition to the health-focused events, the two also visited Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Va., where they paid respects at a memorial tree that honors U.S. servicemen who died in Denmark and toured John F. Kennedy's grave.
The royals also visited Washington's Walter Reed Army Medical Center, where they met with wounded soldiers, and met with children at a local elementary school, where the children were learning about Denmark.
