Danette Stark, Mother, Creates Obscene Image of 13-Year-Old as Retaliation, Say Cops

SALT LAKE CITY (CBS/AP) A Salt Lake City mother is accused of creating an obscene image involving a 13-year-old female acquaintance of her daughter, and distributing the picture at their middle school. 37-year-old Danette Stark is charged with 18 counts of felony sexual exploitation of a minor, for digitally creating fliers that put the girl's face on a picture depicting bestiality.

A custodian found the flier in a girls bathroom at Northwest Middle School in late May. In all, eighteen fliers were found.

Charging documents say surveillance video showed Stark entering the bathroom the day before the fliers were found. Stark told police she created the image to retaliate against the girl for "perceived wrongs," according to the Salt Lake Tribune.

Stark was booked into the Salt Lake County jail Thursday.
