Damesha Traylor first woman to join Texas Most Wanted list in decade

(CBS/KTVT) FORT WORTH - For the first time in a decade, a woman has joined Texas' Most Wanted list.

Police said Wednesday they're searching for the fugitive Damesha Traylor, a known member of the CRIPS gang, reports CBS Dallas.

Traylor has previously been arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a controlled substance, and has logged 17 arrests for prostitution, according to state Department of Public Safety records.

CBS Dallas reports that the 33-year-old, who police described as armed and dangerous, was wanted for a parole violation.

A wanted poster describes Traylor as having a number of defining tattoos, including "Sexy D" on her right wrist; a faded "Sexy D" on her upper left arm; and "Playa Made" in the center of her lower back. DPS says she's 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 270 pounds.

Anyone with information leading to her arrest can make an anonymous tip at 1.800.252.8477 or by texting the letters DPS and the tip to 247637.

A $7,500 reward has been attached to her arrest.
