Cure Time-Zone Confusion with Permatime

Having recently missed a phone meeting (that I set up!) because of my confusion about time zones, I'm for any and every step to make collaborating across temporal boundaries easier. One site that's working on just this problem is called Permatime, which creates one url that tells the meeting time in every collaborator's area.

For example, if I'm in New York, and I set up a talk with an engineer in San Francisco and a marketer in London, I can then email out the permatime url so that everyone knows exactly when we're meeting. If we want to add in an SEO expert in Alabama later, we can just send her the link.

Of course, Permatime doesn't solve the problem of what time works best for everyone in the first place. I still prefer Doodle for that task, but am now following up the instapoll with a permatime url.
