Create Panoramic Photos with Image Composite Editor (Windows)
Microsoft's Image Composite Editor lets you stitch together overlapping photos to create a panorama.
Though there are plenty of programs out there that can accomplish the same thing, few are as free or dead-simple as Image Composite Editor (ICE for short). Just choose two or more photos with at least some overlapping imagery, then wait a minute or two while the program does its thing.
When the stitching is done, you can crop the newly created photo and export it to a variety of formats -- including JPEG, Photoshop, and HD Photo.
Interestingly, Microsoft's free Windows Live Photo Gallery can also create panoramas, but ICE gives you more flexibility on the export front. If you're looking to create some cool images for your site, promotional materials, or whatever, this is a handy little tool. [via gHacks]
