Craig To Talk With Matt Lauer

Sen. Larry Craig and his wife, Suzanne, will appear on a prime-time special Tuesday with Matt Lauer, NBC News announced today.

The high-profile Craig interview, which coincides with Craig's return to the Senate after announcing last week that he would not resign as promised, is certain to produce another week's worth of coverage on a story that Republicans were hoping would have died down by now. 

It will air Tuesday at 8 p.m., with additional coverage Wednesday on "Today."
