Cops: Stripper mom hangs up on deputy to "get on stage"

HUDSON, Fla. - A 29-year-old Florida stripper is accused of hanging up on a deputy who was trying to find her missing daughter because she had to "get on stage," reports CBS affiliate WTSP.

A Pasco Sheriff's deputy trying to find Bobbey Jo Boucher's 10-year-old daughter called Boucher on Aug. 27 while she was at work at a strip club. The 10-year-old had been reported missing earlier in the day by the child's grandmother, who said the child did not return home from a BBQ.

While the deputy was trying to gather information from Boucher so that he could file a missing child report, Boucher reportedly told him, "I have to get on stage," and hung up the phone.

The 10-year-old was found safe later that evening in Pasco.

Boucher was located and arrested for resisting an officer and obstruction. She reportedly said she did not hang up on the deputy, but transferred to another call.

Oh -- that's much better.
