Cops: Man runs naked through Subway restaurant, assaults customer

Aaron Aceves shown on a surveillance tape CBS/KMAX

(CBS/KMAX) SACRAMENTO, Calif. - A 26-year-old man was arrested Wednesday night after running, naked, into a Subway sandwich shop. Once he got inside the store, he assaulted a customer in line.

Aaron Aceves' streaking stint was captured on surveillance video and showed that he spent only a few seconds in the restaurant.  He swiped at one of the people waiting in line and then calmly walked out the door.

Police say Aceves then ran across the street to a supermarket. This is where he was apprehended by authorities using pepper spray to restrain him. He was taken to the hospital for an evaluation and is jailed on $20,000 bail.

He will appear in court Tuesday morning, facing two misdemeanor charges of indecent exposure and resisting arrest.

"No shirt, no shoes, no service!" a witness observed.
