Cops investigating NYC cat cafe robbery
NEW YORK – Police in Manhattan are investigating after two men allegedly robbed a cat café.
According to the NYPD, on Monday around 9:30 p.m., two men entered Koneko on Manhattan's Lower East Side and demanded money.
The men allegedly held a plastic bag with a simulated firearm and got away with $850.
Koneko is a cafe where customers can order beer, wine, sake and snacks while interacting with rescued cats that are available for adoption.
