Cops hunt for man accused of rape at NYC bus station

NEW YORK - Police are searching for a man who raped a woman at the Port Authority Bus Terminal early Friday morning, according to CBS New York.

Authorities said the suspect attacked the 21-year-old woman, forcing her to have sex and further assaulting her inside the Port Authority Bus Terminal parking garage in New York City at around 1 a.m.

The suspect was last seen entering an elevator on the sixth level of the parking garage CBS New York reported.

The victim suffered lacerations to her face and body, police said. She was taken to the hospital where she was treated and later released.

The suspect is described as a black male, about 30 years old with brown eyes, short, braided hair, and a mustache and wearing and American Flag shirt. He is about 5'9″ tall and weighs about 190 pounds, police said.

He was last seen wearing a red, white and blue striped button down and denim shorts with white sneakers.
