Cop kissed on the nose, Fla. woman gets cuffed, arrested

(CBS) MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. - Peggy Hill, a 62-year-old Florida woman, was arrested after deputies say she kissed an officer - against his will - on the nose, CBS affiliate WTSP reports.

Manatee County deputies arrested Hill on Saturday outside her Bradenton home on a felony battery on a law enforcement officer charge. Deputies were initially called to the home for a dispute between Hill and a neighbor. According to the station, the argument was reportedly over a fence between their properties.

The police report obtained by the station says Hill approached Sgt. Randy Lamb and kissed him on his nose. Lamb reportedly stepped away, wiped Hill's saliva off, and - with the help of another deputy - cuffed and arrested Hill.

She was booked at the Manatee County Jail early Sunday is was being held in lieu of $5,000 bond. She is scheduled to appear in court July 19.
