Conan O'Brien's New York Coop Sells for $25 Million

Conan "Coco" O'Brien has finally sold his New York city apartment.

David M. Zaslav, the CEO of Discovery Communications, purchased the seven bedroom, eight-and-a-half bathroom, three terrace duplex for $25 million.

The sale of the funnyman's home is "one of the highest prices paid for a Manhattan apartment this year" according to the New York Times.

The unit is now a sprawling property on the 17th and 18th floors of the Majestic, an Art Deco co-op building at 115 Central Park West, but originally, Conan and his wife bought a single unit on the 17th floor. In 2006 they paid $10 million for another unit just above it on the 18th and combined the two.

Photos from inside the apartment and details of the closing are being kept quiet, but Zaslav is supposedly getting the apartment fully furnished.
In February the "apartment"--more like mansion in the sky--was listed at $35 million, in March a cut dropped the price tag to $29.5 million.

Looks like Mr. Zaslav got a great deal, it is after all a buyers market.
