Cobie Smulders and Taran Killam tie the knot

(CBS News) Actress Cobie Smulders and "Saturday Night Live" star Taran Killam wed on Saturday at the Alisal Guest Ranch and Resort in Solvang, Calif.

According to Us Weekly, the pair exchanged vows in a 15-minute ceremony with a reported 300 guests, including Smulders' "How I Met Your Mother" co-star Allyson Hannigan.

Smulders and Killam have been dating for eight years. They became engaged in January 2009 and have a 3-year-old daughter named Shaelyn.

Smulders will be seen in season eight of "How I Met Your Mother," which begins Sept. 24 on CBS. The new season of "SNL" gets under way on Sept. 15.
