Clinton Campaign Sends Out Link To Favorite Photos – And Appeals For Funds
The now-suspended presidential campaign of Hillary Clinton sent out an email to supporters today with the subject line "Incredible people, incredible memories." In the email, Clinton provides a link to "our online album with some favorite photos from the campaign" – and also asks for a contribution to help retire her millions of dollars of campaign debt.
"Together, you and I changed America forever," Clinton writes in the email. "We touched so many lives over the course of this campaign, and I can't thank you enough for the support you showed me. I met so many wonderful people out on the trail, and I wanted to share some of those memories with you."
"Thank you so much -- I'll be in touch soon," she adds. Her signoff is followed by a link for supporters to donate to the campaign. There is also a prominent "contribute" button featured below the photo album. Clinton had about $9.5 million in unpaid bills at the end of April, according to Federal Election Commission filings, and also lent $11.4 million of her own money to her campaign.
