Chris Brown to star in new movie, "Planet B-Boy"
(CBS) Singer Chris Brown will soon have another movie under his belt.
Production has reportedly begun on the upcoming "Planet B-Boy," in which he will be starring alongside "Lost" actor Josh Holloway.
The movie is based on an award-winning documentary of the same name that follows a crew of American "b-boys," or breakdancers, as they train to compete in France's Battle of the Year International Championships, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The director of the documentary, Benson Lee, will also be directing the film version. According to THR, the film will be shot in Los Angeles before moving to Montpellier, France.
The music-themed drama from Screen Gems also stars Laz Alonso, Josh Peck and Caity Lotz.
No release date has been announced, reports Entertainment Weekly.
