Children hurt in school bus-truck crash in western Pa.

(CBS/KDKA/AP) Authorities say about 15 people have been injured in a collision between a school bus and a tractor-trailer in western Pennsylvania near Rockwood. A spokesman for Somerset Hospital said it was expecting eight people to arrive by ambulance and another seven to 10 people with minor injuries arriving by bus.

Medical helicopters and a coroner were also dispatched sent to the scene.

The Daily American newspaper of Somerset County reported on its website that the bus and the truck collided around 2:45 p.m. Wednesday.

According to CBS Pittsburgh, the accident happened on Route 281 in Upper Turkeyfoot Township near the Maryland line.

The school bus is from the Turkeyfoot Area School District.
