Celebs Share Stage With Tennis Stars

Show business and tennis celebrities joined forces this weekend to kick off the U.S. Open Tennis Tournament with an Arthur Ashe Kids Day.

Held annually in memory of the tennis legend, the daylong family festival featured interactive kids' activities with players and a stadium show featuring Bill Cosby as emcee with music by The Backstreet Boys.

There also was tournament-style competition among Pete Sampras, Andre Agassi, Martina Hingis, the Williams sisters, the Jensen and Bryan brothers and the USTA national 14-and-under boys and girls champions.

Sponsored by Aetna, Arthur Ashe Kids' Day honors Ashe's legacy, contribution to the sport of tennis and commitment to children. The event raises money for the Arthur Ashe Foundation, an umbrella organization for numerous charities the tennis star supported.

Among the highlights, reports CBS 'This Morning' Co-Anchor Mark McEwen, was a sibling-rivalry match between Venus and Serna Williams using only one racquet.

"We really lie being out here on Arthur Ashe Day," Venus said. "It is enjoyable for both of us. We love it."
