CBS Interactive Reorganizes Under Pressure To Show Results

Under pressure to deliver on all that promise and investment, Quincy Smith is adding layers and shuffling responsibilities in a reorganization of CBS Interactive (NYSE: CBS). At the same time the company made official what we reported in December and what has gotten a fair amount of play this week: the expansion of CBS Interactive in Silicon Valley. The new office is in Menlo Park and is described as a "satellite."
CBS vet brought in: Bryon Rubin, moves from CBS corporate development and mergers & acquisitions to EVP and CFO of CBS Interactive and will be responsible for financial strategy. Jeff Kapsos, SVP-finance, will report to him.
Kint adds CBSNews.com: In a move that mirrors the way CBS Sports and News are managed by Sean McManus on the network level, Jason Kint will add CBSNews.com to his responsibilities for CBSports.com.
