Catch A 'Bunny' On The Web
Did you miss Bunny, which just won the Academy Award for best animated short film? Not to worry; you can catch it on the Internet.
The seven-minute short, written and directed by Chris Wedge, is being cybercast regularly until Monday at the Globix Web site or at the Blue Sky Studios Web site.
The animated Bunny was produced with the use of an advanced computer rendering technique known as "radiosity," which, according to Blue Sky's Web site, mimics the most subtle properties of natural light.
The film, produced by Nina Rappaport, also features music by Tom Waits and Kathleen Brennan.
If you would prefer to see Bunny on the big screen, you can catch it at The Film Forum in New York from May 12 - 25. It also is featured in the 1999 Spike & Mike Film Festival which tours the U.S. and Canada.
