Casey Anthony's brother and father testify at hearing
(CBS/WKMG) ORLANDO, Fla. - Day two of the suppression hearings in the murder trial of Casey Anthony, the young Florida mother accused of murdering her 2-year-old daughter Caylee in 2008, saw tense testimony from Anthony's father and brother who testified about the days after Caylee was reported missing.

The defense called Casey's father George and brother Lee to the stand to testify about potentially incriminating statements she made to them while in jail in an attempt to show that they were acting as agents of the state, and that, therefore, the statements should be thrown out.
George Anthony tried to avoid answering questions and repeatedly got into verbal battles with the prosecution as well as the judge, but the prosecution eventually got him to admit that he was only working as an agent for Caylee, according to CBS affiliate WKMG.
"This is a very emotional time for me," George Anthony said, according to the station.
Casey Anthony's brother, Lee, also testified Thursday and acknowledged trying to coax information from his sister, promising to not reveal information from any letter she might send him if she didn't want him to, according CNN.
When asked by the defense if he had been lying to his sister when he made that promise he answered, "maybe," eliciting a shrug from Casey Anthony who then looked away, according to the news network.
But Lee Anthony denied being put up to the ruse by police, saying he was only trying to find his niece Caylee, whose body was found five months after being reported missing.
Orange County Sheriff's Sgt. Reginald Hosey also testified Thursday, and discussed a previously undisclosed walk he took with Casey Anthony early on July 16 after Cindy Anthony told him she was "worried about her granddaughter," Caylee, the station reported.
Hosey testified Anthony told him "her parents may try to take her child away from her."
Casey Anthony, 24, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of her daughter, Caylee Marie Anthony.
Caylee was 2 years old when she was reported missing in July 2008, one month after being last seen by her grandparents. Caylee's remains were discovered by a meter reader in December 2008.
The trial is expected to begin May 9.
