(CBS/WKMG/AP) ORLANDO, Fla. - Casey Anthony's brother, Lee Anthony, broke down in tears on the witness stand today when he recalled not being at his niece Caylee's birth.

Lee Anthony said he was hurt that his family did not include him in Caylee's birth and he chose not to go to the hospital when Caylee was born. Casey Anthony also cried during this part of his testimony, reports CBS affiliate WKMG.

"My parents are very over the top. Prior to my sister's actually having Caylee, to be honest with you, I didn't pay it a lot of attention. [Casey's pregnancy] was something I was told to let go and not address and I was frankly quite angry that I was not included in it," Lee Anthony said during cross-examination, reports the station.

Lee Anthony was then asked about when he first noticed his sister was pregnant. He said it was around early to mid-2008, but was later corrected to 2005. Caylee was born on August 9, 2005. He said he noticed his sister putting on weight, but she brushed off his questions. Lee said he did not learn of his sister's pregnancy, for sure, until just a few days before Caylee was born, according to the station.

Lee Anthony lived in the Anthony family home during that time.

He testified that he initially drove the white Pontiac Sunfire that the prosecution has said Casey Anthony put Caylee's body in after she died, leaving a stain in the trunk. On the stand, Lee Anthony said that the stain in the trunk could have been the result of something he put in the car when he drove it, the station reports.

Prosecutor Jeff Ashton questioned Lee Anthony about why he refused to meet with prosecutors to discuss testimony, but reached out to Baez this week regarding his testimony.

During Lee Anthony's testimony, Cindy Anthony became visibly upset and she and her husband left the courtroom.

Anthony, 25, is charged with first-degree murder in the death Caylee and has pleaded not guilty. Anthony could face the death penalty if convicted.

The Casey Anthony case was recently reported on by "48 Hours Mystery."
