(CBS) A book about the Casey Anthony murder trial by one of the Florida prosecutors in case will hit store shelves in November.

Jeff Ashton, the veteran assistant state attorney who became a national figure as a result of the high-profile trial, confirmed to the Orlando Sentinel this weekend that he is the author of the book being promoted on several websites.

Listings began appearing Saturday on Amazon and Barnes & Noble's websites, offering pre-orders for "Imperfect Justice: Prosecuting Casey Anthony," with Ashton listed as author.

I wasn't aware that it was going to go online today," Ashton said to the newspaper. He declined to provide more details.

According to the booksellers' web sites, the 256-page hardcover is set for publication in late-November by William Morrow publishers

Anthony, 25, was acquitted in mid Julyon all major charges in the death of 2-year-old daughter Caylee Marie. Earlier this month, one poll showed she was the most heated personin America.

Even before the trial ended, speculation was rampant about possible book or movie deals those involved.
