Casey Anthony must release financial information in defamation suit, judge rules
(CBS/WKMG) ORLANDO, Fla. - A judge ruled on Tuesday that Casey Anthony must release her financial information to Zenaida Gonzalez, who is suing her for defamation, CBS affiliate WKMG reports.

According to the station, Gonzalez's attorneys are trying to determine Anthony's net worth and want to know if the Florida mother received any money from her parents' trust fund. While Anthony's attorneys argued that it was private financial information, the judge ruled it would be kept confidential.
The trust fund was created by Anthony's parents, the Orlando Sentinel reports, in honor of their granddaughter, Caylee, who died in 2008. Anthony was acquitted of murdering Caylee in July 2011, but was found guilty of lying to authorities.
In Jan. 2010, Anthony was convicted of check fraud in an unrelated case and sentenced to one year probation. She was released last week.
Gonzalez claims she was damaged by Anthony telling detectives that a baby sitter by the same name had kidnapped 2-year-old Caylee.
