(CBS/WKMG) ORLANDO, Fla. - Casey Anthony has returned to Florida as she awaits a court ruling on a probation order from her conviction on check fraud charges, her attorney Jose Baez told Fox News' Geraldo Rivera.

"She is back in Florida. We brought her back in the event that the appellate court rules sometime this week," Baez told Rivera, reports CBS affiliate WKMG. "We're going to follow the law. Whatever the courts decide, we're going to go along and follow the law, and I'm certain that she'll do what's asked of her, if necessary."

Anthony, 25, has been ordered to return to Orange County by Friday to start serving probation. Anthony and her lawyers are trying to fight the order and believe she served her probation while in jail.

Baez would not tell Rivera where exactly Anthony had been living, but he did confirm that the photos TMZ posted of Anthony in Columbus, Ohio were legitimate.

"She has been with close friends of ours - somewhat spiritual advisers, people who care and are trying to help her get on with her life," Baez said on the show.

Anthony was charged with murder and aggravated child abuse in Caylee's death. Her trial began in May and a jury found her not guilty of all felony charges on July 5.
