(CBS News) Carly Rae Jepsen will release her debut full-length U.S. album, "Kiss," on Sept. 18.

The "Call Me Maybe" singer wrote or co-wrote all of the set's tracks, collaborating with Max Martin, Dallas Austin, LMFAO's Redfoo and other songwriters and producers.

"These are lyric and song ideas that I have been collecting over the years," said Jepsen, who finished third in "Canadian Idol" in 2007. "I can't tell you how lucky I feel to be able to collaborate with some of my dream producers. It has been the most fulfilling experience. The record is pop. It's inspired by Robyn, The Cars, Madonna, and believe it or not, James Taylor."

Jepsen, 26, will join Justin Bieber on tour this fall. But before that, Jepsen has lined up a slew of TV appearances, including visits to the "Today" show and "America's Got Talent." The Canadian songstress will also appear at Arthur Ashe Kids Day at the U.S. Open, airing Aug. 26 on CBS.

Jepsen's hit single "Call Me Maybe" appeared on the EP, "Curiosity," released earlier this year. Jepsen's latest single is a collaboration with Owl City called "Good Time."
