Car "baited" with desirables like a DVD lures thieves, just like police planned

(CBS/AP) ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - A teenager and an adult are facing charges after Albuquerque police say the pair found several items in a so-called "bait car" too tempting to resist.

Police arrested a 15-year-old girl and a 35-year-old man Wednesday afternoon, and KRQE-TV reports the teenager even had suspicions the car was a set up to trap would-be thieves.

Guess it worked.

Surveillance video shows the pair taking several items including a DVD player into a nearby apartment where police soon caught up with them.

Police said 35-year-old Gabriel Romo and the teen girl face several charges including auto burglary.
