California woman held captive for three days and repeatedly raped, police say
(CBS/KHSL) - A California woman says she was held captive for three days, while being beaten and raped by her boyfriend, according to the Yuba County Sheriff's department.
Tyrone Dyson, 38, was arrested Saturday in Linda, about 40 miles north of Sacramento, on rape, assault and false imprisonment charges, according to CBS affiliate KHSL.
Investigators reoportedly say Dyson allegedly held his live-in girlfriend captive for several days and threatened to kill her if she tried to escape. During that time his alleged victim says he raped repeatedly and and beat her. She was eventually able to escape while Dyson slept.
Dyson is currently being held in Yuba County Jail on $150,000 bail, reports KHSL.
