Cake dispute leads mom to bust own son for pot
FLINT, Mich. - Police in Flint, Mich. arrested a 16-year-old boy for marijuana possession, but police had a little help from his mother.
It started Saturday afternoon with a dispute over a piece of cake, involving the woman and her teenage son at their home.
The Flint Journal reports police were dispatched to the home on a report of a domestic dispute and the woman told them about the argument.
According to a police report, the woman then informed an officer that her son had marijuana in his bedroom, and would smoke it in the home in front of her other children. The woman then apparently went into the boy's room, got the marijuana herself and turned the drugs over to police, reports CBS Detroit.
The boy was taken into custody, thereby making the drug bust a total piece of cake.
Names of those involved weren't immediately released.
