BYE, TONY....Tony Blair is apparently ready to end the guessing game and announce his retirement:
Mr Blair, who was campaigning for the Scottish parliamentary elections in Edinburgh, told party supporters: "Within the next few weeks, I won't be prime minister of this country.If Blair sticks to this, it means Gordon Brown will be the new PM by the end of May. Brown has never been much of a fan of the Iraq War, so presumably this change means that the British withdrawal from Iraq will proceed, if anything, on an even quicker pace than before."In all probability, a Scot will become prime minister of the United Kingdom."
