Clinton And Pitt Team Up To Help Katrina Victims

2Former President Clinton and Brad Pitt met with hundreds of volunteers in the Lower 9th Ward at the site where a foundation headed by Pitt plans to begin building affordable homes for Hurricane Katrina victims.

"We hope to see a huge change here in the next six months," Pitt told a group of residents as he posed for pictures Sunday and signed autographs.

Radiohead Hosts Online Video Contest

Radiohead allowed fans to choose a price for their latest tunes. Now, the best-selling band is hoping fans will make them a music video, too.

TBD Records, Cartoon Network's Adult Swim and animation Web portal Aniboom.com are sponsoring an online contest inviting Radiohead fans to produce an animated music video for any song from "In Rainbows," the band's popular 2007 album that was originally available for download at an optional price.

Online voters and a panel of judges will select finalists with Radiohead choosing a winner who will receive a $10,000 prize to produce a full-length animated music video. The competition began Monday and continues through April 27.

Britney Joins Mel Gibson For Fancy Dinner

Perhaps they're not such strange company.

3Britney Spears and Mel Gibson, both of whom have battled negative press in the last couple of years, were together at his dinner party over the weekend, People.com reports.

Spears and her friend Victoria joined Gibson and a group of his friends at the Romanov restaurant in Los Angeles. They enjoyed a meal in the restaurant's private dining room where they dined on filet mignon and Russian goodies for two hours. Instead of the Russian beverage of choice, vodka, the group drank water and soft drinks, the magazine said.

Rachel Ray: "I'm More Than Just A Cook

4Foodie mogul Rachel Ray is miffed that people wonder what she was doing hosting a music showcase at indie music fest SXSW last week.

"I guess people think that I just live in a kitchen but I love music, every type of music," she told The Associated Press as she cooled off from the Texas heat in an air-conditioned bus.

"I listen to jazz, my husband and I go to the opera a few times a year, we both love indie rock, go to a lot of indie rock shows. It's not surprising to me," she continued. "I know that I'm more than just a cook. I think that's why people probably thought it was so weird but I married a man who has an indie-rock band, so how is it that weird when you really think about it?"

Ray didn't miss out on an opportunity to do what she does best, though. The celebrity chef created three recipes for the event, including a seven-layer slider and a vegetarian macaroni and cheese, which were among the dishes served up to the packed crowd.

ABBA Drummer Found Dead

5Police on the Spanish island of Mallorca say a former drummer for the Swedish pop band ABBA has been found dead in the garden of his house with cuts to his throat, but that foul play is not suspected.

A Civil Guard spokeswoman on Monday identified the man as Ola Brunkert, 62.

She says an autopsy is being carried out but that investigations indicate at this point that the death was an accident. The spokeswoman gave the information on customary condition of anonymity.

Rap Concert Ends In Brawl

Police say officers were overwhelmed trying to restore order as a spring break rap concert ended in multiple fights on the beach at Galveston, Texas.

Galveston police Lt. Jorge Trevino says it took officers almost four hours to clear the streets after the concert on Sunday and at least 12 people were arrested.

Four officers were initially assigned to patrol the concert but eventually all of Galveston's on-duty officers were sent to the scene.

The concert was called the "Spring Break Party Beach Bash." It was hosted by a Houston radio station that said scheduled performers included 2 Pistols, Colby O'Donnis, Lil Wil & Lil Keke, and Webbie.
