Air Charter Must Pay Up For Secretly Taping King of Pop In Route

The owner of a Santa Monica-based air charter service has been ordered to pay attorney Mark Geragos and an associate more than $12 million for ordering secret videotaping of Michael Jackson and the lawyers as they flew with the pop star to his surrender on molestation charges in 2003.

A lawyer for XtraJet owner Jeffrey Borer says he'll appeal Monday's judgment.

Borer and a co-defendant pleaded guilty in 2006 to conspiracy for installing digital cameras aboard an XtraJet plane that flew Jackson from Las Vegas to Santa Barbara.

He was also booked for investigation of possessing a controlled substance for allegedly having a small quantity of drugs on him, Aguirre said.

Amy Winehouse's Itchy Cheek

5If you meet up with Amy Winehouse in the near future, make sure you greet her with an air kiss instead of a real one. According to US magazine, the troubled singer is suffering from impetigo, a contagious skin infection common in kids that's left a lumpy itchy patch on her cheek.

"Amy has been diagnosed with impetigo, which she's been told can be highly contagious," her rep tells the magazine. "Because of that, she's been put on antibiotics and may have to stay home alone for the next few days."

Kid Rock Pleads Not Guilty In Waffle House Melee

Kid Rock has pleaded not guilty to a charge of battery stemming from a fight at a Waffle House in Atlanta.

Robert James Ritchie, better known as the musician Kid Rock, was not present for the plea. His attorney, Darryl Cohen, waived an arraignment hearing and entered the plea on Ritchie's behalf in DeKalb County State Court, according to Cohen's office.

Ritchie and five members of his entourage were arrested October 21 on a misdemeanor charge of simple battery. The charges stem from a fight at a metro-Atlanta Waffle House, where they had stopped following his performance at The Tabernacle.

Officials say a fight broke out after another customer recognized a woman in Kid Rock's party and exchanged words with her, prompting Ritchie to exchange words, too.
