Burning Man festival as seen from space

If you were among the 50,000 people attending the 25th Burning Man festival in the Nevada desert, you very well may have felt a bit overwhelmed by the crowds. Indeed, a view of the action taken by a European Space Agency satellite hovering roughly 373 miles overhead underscores just how much of a scrum this annual Labor Day gathering has become. ESA says that the image offers a resolution of approximately 16 feet. The festival, which started Aug. 29, wraps up today.
