Build a Workgroup Wiki with Google Sites

There's a new kid on the Google Apps block. Google Sites enables companies, teams, schools, and other organizations to create information-packed Web sites.

The first fruit of Google's 2007 acquisition of wiki-builder JotSpot, Sites lets you "centralize all types of information -- from videos to presentations -- and share your site with just a few people, your entire organization, or the world." You can build a site yourself or invite others to collaborate, much like working with documents in Google Docs (natch).

Obviously a Google Sites site wouldn't take the place of your company's primary site, but it could be ideal for "workgroup wikis" (private intranets for teams, projects, etc.). Watch the video to learn more. [via Google Operating System]
