Buchanan Raised Over $460,000 During 1st Quarter

Florida is apparently a good place to be a freshman member of Congress - minus that whole swing state/potential for challengers thing.

First, Democrat Rep. Ron Klein posts something in the neighborhood of $600,000 for his first quarter in the House, and now Republican Rep. Vern Buchanan comes in with a sizaeable $461,666 for the first quarter of 2007, according to someone close to the congressman.

That leaves the freshman Republican with $280,000 in cash-on-hand in what could be another tough race.
