Bruce Springsteen, Jon Stewart to Stand Up For Heroes
Bruce Springsteen, Jerry Seinfeld, Jon Stewart and Roger Waters are among the performers on the bill for the 7th annual Stand Up for Heroes benefit on Nov. 6 at The Theater at Madison Square Garden. The annual show will help raise funds for injured service members.
The music and comedy event, dubbed Stand Up for Heroes, is being organized by the Bob Woodruff Foundation and New York Comedy Festival. There's expected to be several surprise guests in attendance.
Since its start, Stand Up for Heroes has raised more than $16 million for service members, including 9-11 service members and their families.
At last year's concert, Waters performed with injured service members from BWF grantee MusiCorps based out of Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
