NEW YORK (CBS) Singer and "Celebrity Apprentice 3" finalist Bret Michaels is back in a Phoenix, Ariz., hospital today after what doctors described as a "warning stroke."

A message was posted on Michaels' official website saying that he "was readmitted to the hospital this week after suffering numbness on the left side of his body, predominantly his face and hands, which doctors described as a transient ischemic attack, or warning stroke."

During testing, the Associated Press says, doctors also found a hole in his heart.

It remains unclear whether Michaels, 47, will be healthy enough Sunday to take part in the finale of "Celebrity Apprentice 3."

Celebrity Circuit spoke to a publicist for the NBC show who states, "We are not sure yet. We are cautiously optimistic." He said the show "should know by tomorrow."

Janna Elias, a rep for the Poison rocker and country star, is quoted on the site as saying that Michaels is walking and talking, but he "has made it clear he is sick and tired of being in the hospital and is ready to rock again."

Michaels, one of the show's two finalists, had been planning to attend the "Celebrity Apprentice" finale since he was released from the hospital after suffering a nearly fatal brain hemorrhage last month. He was discharged from the Phoenix hospital on May 4.
