Breaking Up, Hugh Grant Style

Hugh Grant and Elizabeth Hurley are splitting up, at least temporarily.

"It is a temporary thing. It is a mutual and amicable decision," according to a statement from the couple's publicist released Tuesday. "They are continuing to run Simian Films together and would like to stress that there are no third parties involved."

Grant, star of such films as Notting Hill and Four Weddings and a Funeral, is now in Britain, while Hurley, an actress and the face of Estee Lauder cosmetics, is in New York, the publicist said.

The couple have been together for 13 years.

In 1995, Grant pleaded no contest to lewd conduct after being arrested in a car in Los Angeles with prostitute Estelle Thompson, also known as Divine Brown.
