"Breaking Bad" star Bryan Cranston narrates iPad Air commercial

Those going through "Breaking Bad" withdrawals may get a little fix from Apple's new commercial.

Bryan Cranston, who played Walter White on the hit TV show, is the new voice of Apple's first iPad Air ad.

The minute-long commercial shows a pencil in the different locations that the iPad has been used, including classrooms, laboratories and offices. As the ad comes to an end, the iPad Air is pulled from behind the pencil -- presumably to demonstrate its thinner body. The device is 7.5 mm thin and weighs 1 pound.

"Breaking Bad" fans were surprised to hearing the actors voice on TV and many took to Twitter to express their delight.

"The commercial for the new iPad Air is one of the best Apple ads of all time and it features the voice of Bryan Cranston. Brilliant. $AAPL," said Twitter user @pmod.

"iPad Air???? Oooooooh. And Bryan Cranston is the ad makes it perfect," said Twitter user @dlituchy.
