Brad Pitt to present movie of the year at MTV Movie Awards

None other than Brad Pitt will be on hand at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday to present the movie of the year honor.

The A-list actor will give the Golden Popcorn trophy to one of the following 2012 films: "Marvel's The Avengers," "The Dark Knight Rises," "Django Unchained," "Silver Linings Playbook" and "Ted." He'll be joined by plenty of other celebrity talent at the event, including "Game of Thrones" actor Peter Dinklage, who will present the Comedic Genius Award to his "Elf" co-star Will Ferrell.

Appearances will also be made by Chris Pine, Zoe Saldana and Zachary Quinto from "Star Trek Into Darkness," along with Seth Rogen and Danny McBride from "This is the End," and "Grown Ups 2" stars Chris Rock and Adam Sandler.

Additional presenters include Steve Carell, Zac Efron, Melissa McCarthy, Amanda Seyfried and Kerry Washington.

Performances will be made by the cast of "Pitch Perfect," Macklemore & Lewis and Selena Gomez.

Actress Rebel Wilson will host the ceremony, airing live from the Sony Pictures Studio Lot in Culver City, Calif., at 9 p.m. ET on MTV.
