Boyle Makeover: Thumbs-Down From Cowell

Simon Cowell isn't happy with Susan Boyle.

So much so that the star maker says he plans an intervention.

But will Boyle listen?

Boyle became an overnight singing sensation when her powerful, beautiful voice shocked everyone as she tried out for the reality show, "Britain's Got Talent."

But, reports CBS News correspondent Elizabeth Palmer, while Boyle sounded like a star, she didn't look the part.

For millions of fans, that was her charm.

Then she had a makeover -- changing her hairstyle and outfits -- and Cowell says he's less than impressed.

"Oh, my God," he remarked to "Entertainment Tonight." "She and I might have to have a little conversation in the next day or so. What I loved about her was the fact that she had no sense of awareness about what she looks, and actually doesn't care."

Piers Morgan, another "Britain's Got Talent" judge, agrees.

"Don't go changin' ," he urged Boyle on Entertainment Tonight." "What has got you where you are is that you're not a size zero, stick-insect perfect looking human being."

Boyle has to decide on a look for her next stage appearance at the end of May knowing, Palmer says, that either day, dowdy...or diva, she's going to start a new media frenzy.
