Boyfriend's dog ate model's marijuana, then she grabbed a knife, report says
(CBS) FT. LAUDERDALE - This is the story of the pot, the pet, and the pocket knife.
First, a South Florida woman says, her boyfriend's dog ate her marijuana. Then they argued, and she allegedly attacked the boyfriend with a knife, reports the Sun Sentinel.
The arrest report says police were called Sunday evening to the apartment of 26-year-old Shadae Scott after a report of a domestic dispute.
The boyfriend, Kevin Wiggins, told police the couple got into a fight because his dog ate her drug stash. He said Scott then kicked him out of the apartment and was keeping him from his personal property.
Wiggens said his girlfriend started attacking him with a knife - a pink pocket-knife according to the Sentinel - after he asked for his computer.
Scott told deputies a very different story: she claimed Wiggins kept walking into her knife as the two argued, according to the court documents.
She said the fight was over dinner plans and turned physical after she tried to leave the apartment.
"Scott added that during one of the many times during the argument, Wiggins walked into the knife and cut himself,' wrote Sheriff's Deputy Laughten Hall.
Scott, who told a Broward County judge she does modeling work, was charged with a single count of battery.
The boyfriend, Kevin Wiggins, suffered small knife cuts in the face and head and one across his hand.
