"1 Dead in Attic: After Katrina," by Chris Rose

Because of Hurricane Katrina, Chris Rose always has something to write about.

Rose is a columnist for the New Orleans Times-Picayune and, for the past two years, he has chronicled his city's struggle to stay alive, and the storm's impact on the lives of those in areas it savaged.

His columns earned him a Pulitzer Prize, and became a book, "1 Dead in Attic: After Katrina," published last year.

It's now out in an expanded edition, and amounts to a very personal look at post-Katrina New Orleans.

Rose discussed the city's recovery efforts, and those of his residents, and talked about his book, on The Early Show. To see the segment,
